Edmonton… Celebrate what it means to be Ukrainian at Ukrainian Day on Sunday, August 8 at the Ukrainian Cultural Heritage Village.

You're invited to share in this vibrant celebration of Ukrainian culture and heritage as we celebrate all things Ukrainian! The day starts with traditional church and memorial services, Centenary Pioneer celebrations, followed by a fabulous stage show. Enjoy an array of culinary delights at the "Taste of Ukraine" food fair, and the Ukrainian Community Showcase featuring displays, demonstrations and lots of hands-on activities. Visit the Village Market, listen to musical entertainment, and enjoy old fashioned historic activities in the Historic Village. Co-presented by the Ukrainian Canadian Congress-Alberta Provincial Council, and Alberta Council for Ukrainian Arts. Admission: Adults $8.00

The Ukrainian Cultural Heritage Village, located 25 minutes or 50 km (30 miles) east of Edmonton along Highway 16, just 3 km (1.8 miles) east of Elk Island National Park.

Access is along a four-lane divided highway and the travel route is well signed from both east-west directions.
