Description:

The East meets West festival is a celebration of the many cultures in the city of Edmonton. This 3-day family event is an initiative of the McCauley Revitalization Project to showcase some of the ethnic groups that make-up our community. The streets will be filled with arts, culture, entertainment, and especially, food!

 

There will be activities for all ages including air-brush face painting, a soccer tournament, African wares, Cantonese opera, Italian folk music and more.

Chinatown Festival 2010 - Saturday, August 28, 2010

 

Time & Place: 11:00AM to 8:00PM

Location: 105 Avenue to 107A Avenue

Opening Ceremony: 11:00AM, address: 97 Street, Stage @106 Avenue.

 

 

Viva Italia, Viva Edmonton 2010 – Sunday, August 29, 2010

 

Time & Place: 12:00PM to 9:00PM

Location: Giovanni Caboto Park & Via Italia, address: 95 Street, fom 108 Avenue to 109A Ave.

Opening Ceremony: 1PM, Giovanni Caboto Park, address above. Park opens at noon.
